Rexford Asibuo 
CEO
BSc. Finance, MBA

Rexford is the Founder of Imperial Ark and hence responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the firm.

He has over 15 years experience as an entrepreneur, dabbling in various sectors that include gold mining, Import & export, a football app, consulting and hotel management.

Rexford is nonexecutive Director of Lagos-based boutique investment bank BlackBirch Capital. He has also served as an advisor in Ghana for investments giant Carlyle Group as well as Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging market-focused investment banking firm.

Prior to founding Imperial Ark, he spent three years as a senior financial analyst at Bearing Point Inc in Virginia(USA) where his work covered clients in the mining and energy sectors.
Before then, Rexford was a Senior Associate at JP Morgan Chase Bank’s asset management unit in Delaware (USA) where he oversaw investments in municipal bonds and private placement securities.

Mr Asibuo holds a bachelors degree in Finance from Michigan State University and an MBA in financeand strategic management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Rexford is happily married and blessed with 2 amazing kids.

Frederick Owusu
General Manager
Bsc. Business Management

Frederick is the General Manager and hence responsible for the day to day operations of ImperialArk. Prior to joining Imperial Ark, He had garnered some managerial experience working in diverse sectors such as; education, retail and health care.

He also worked with the World Food Program as a Senior Administrator. Frederick serves on the Financial Management Committee at his church Winners Chapel International.

He holds a bachelors degree in Business Management from the University of Cape Coast.

Isaac Agbo
Director of Real Estate

Isaac has over 20 years of multifaceted property experience. His building and construction
background has seen him collaborate with Italian construction giant Trasacco Estate Development Company on several projects.

He has also worked as lead subcontractor to build homes for several other renowned real estate companies across Ghana and has built over 70 residential units. Isaac has also built warehouses and retail spaces.

Isaac is a graduate of Accra Technical University.

Bo Jiang
MBA

Mr. Bo Jiang is the Founder and Managing Director of United Orion Management, a firm specializing in holding investments and strategic consulting.

With over 15 years of investment and management experience, Mr. Jiang previously served as President and Managing Partner at FosunPE, where he managed over $1 billion in investments across healthcare, consumer goods, and technology sectors, achieving significant growth and successful exits. Before Fosun, Mr. Jiang played key roles at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and LongHill Capital, leading investments in companies that have gone public or become market leaders. 

With an MBA from The Wharton School and degrees from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Tsinghua University, Mr. Jiang combines strategic insight with deep operational experience, making him a valuable advisor in investment and business growth.

Abiodun Sanusi
BSc. Accounting, MBA, CFA, FCA, FCTI

Abiodun is the Founder of BlackBirch Capital and thus responsible for the strategic direction of the firm, as well as overseeing all securities trading business. Abiodun has over 19 years’ experience in Investment banking and has executed transactions in excess of USD 10 billon across multiple sectors i.e. oil & gas, financial services, consumer, industrials etc. in his investment banking career to date.

Prior to founding BlackBirch Capital, He was responsible for setting up the investment banking business of Coronation Merchant Bank as he was the pioneer Division Head of the Investment Banking Division at Coronation. Abiodun led the business and executed multiple landmark transactions which culminated to Coronation Merchant Bank being awarded as the Best Investment Bank in Nigeria by World Finance, Business Day and Global Banking & Finance Awards. He was on the Board of the Bank's three subsidiaries; Coronation Securities Limited, Coronation Asset Management Limited & Coronation Trustees Limited.

Abiodun was also the former Director of Investment Banking at Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging market focused investment banking firm, covering Renaissance Capital’s Sub-Saharan African Investment Banking business. Before joining Renaissance Capital, he was an Investment Adviser at Africa Finance Corporation. He also grew from being an Analyst to Deputy Head of Investment Banking at Vetiva Capital Management. He started his career an Analyst in the Information Risk Management Unit of KPMG Professional Services.

Carl Anku
BSE. Biochemical Engineering, MBA

Carl is an experienced program manager, corporate strategist, and real estate entrepreneur who has led a variety of strategic and operational projects mainly in the Financial Services and Information Technology (IT) industries. Carl has managed cross-functional teams that relocated global corporate headquarters (HQ), outsourced IT infrastructure globally, delivered innovative technology deployments, coordinated organizational change management (OCM) initiatives, developed data loss prevention (DLP) programs, and provided strategic guidance to major financial and technology enterprises.

Carl is currently a Principal at US-based Xyster Consulting, Inc., sits on the Management Committee, and leads business development including all aspects of company strategy, pitch and proposal development, client acquisition, and relationship management. Carl also managed a team of ~30 project managers to outsource global IT Infrastructure and support services primarily in India, China, Poland and the U.S., and the associated workforce reduction of approximately 800 employees.

Prior to Xyster, Carl worked as a management consultant for PRTM (now part of PWC). His previous engagements focused on product development, portfolio management, operational cost reduction and business process optimization for pharmaceutical, biodefense and medical device companies. On these engagements, he helped accelerate time-to market and reduce development costs for critical drugs, devices, therapies, and services. 

Carl holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) Degree in Biomedical Engineering also from the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a minority owner of Plymouth Argyle FC, an English soccer team playing in the English Football League Championship (one division below the Premier League). He hails from Ghana, but lives in Washington D.C. with his wife and two lovely kids.

Muoyo Okome
BSE. Computer Science, MBA

Muoyo Okome is an entrepreneur and technologist whose mobile applications have amassed over 12 million downloads without external funding.

He has held technical & business roles at leading companies including Netflix, Microsoft, and IBM.

Muoyo holds a BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was later recognized by the African American MBA Association with their Emerging Leader Award.

A proud son of Nigerian immigrants, Muoyo was raised in Brooklyn, NY. He currently resides in the New York City area with his wife and two children, where he continues to innovate at the intersection of mobile technology, data science, and artificial intelligence.
